Green Cleaning for Health Clubs and Gyms

health club.jpg

Studies have shown that clean health clubs are the #1 area of customer retention and when surveyed, 88% of Americans would not return to a facility that they determined to not be clean.  Even if there is a slight perception of uncleanleness by patrons, the thought of bacteria and germs come to mind.  Since people tend to smell worse after a workout than before, this makes cleaning and odor control a particular challenge for gyms.

The healthconscious have embraced the use of green products, and the use of them, so it only makes sense that where they workout, should be as clean and healthy as possible.  The challenge with most clean cleaners, is that they just don't work very well.  And in an environment like a gym, this will become apparent quickly.

IEM Clean's proprietary line of products are not only certified to be environmentally friendly, but will out-perform any other detergent cleaning product on the market. The products are safe and easy for your staff to use, entirely eliminate bacteria causing smells and will save you money over other cleaning products.

A study commissioned by Cintas Corp. (Dec. 28, 2012) showed 88% of U.S. adults would not return to exercise in a gym or athletic facility if they found it to have cleanliness issues. When asked specifically which cleanliness issues would most likely prevent them from exercising or working out in a gym or athletic facility, those surveyed reported:

  • Unpleasant odors: 72 percent

  • Dirty equipment: 71 percent

  • Unclean restrooms/locker rooms: 71 percent

  • Dirty floors: 55 percent

  • Lack of cleaning products to wipe down equipment: 52 percent
